CHILD REGISTRATION WITH HOME AFFAIRS
All parents with newborns hoping to take advantage of Easter 2025 SASSA Childcare Grants need to register the birth with the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) as soon as possible. Because nothing can be done by the agency without a birth certificate and identity document. As always, the agency notes that applications may take up to three months to be processed, however, you will be back-paid to the date of application if successful.
